A COVE OF TREASURES

We walked a dune path, morning glory flowers twining on either side, to find this little cove - this treasure trove of diamonds spilling from the cliff side, glinting in the afternoon sun. I was breathing deeply, taking in every last drop of the sweetness of the eucalyptus and hot sap, salt and spray in the wind. Washing in and out of the cove was the ocean, sparkling and deliciously blue…

hush hush hush it sings.

and a door leading to the sun…
liquid gold and bright minerals,
these are real hidden treasures.
