Here we have Lucky, all grumpy and yucky, 
with bells on her collar, and a beard that's all schmucky.

Bearded, too, is Saphira, a squiff of a thing,
who gets jittery and skittery if she hears the phone ring.

And motherly, cuddly, whiny and needy,
is Jess the eldest, whose weight so exceeded,
what it really should have been.
